If I were to treat you to a cup of coffee and spend some quality time telling you all about the things the Lord has done in the past few months, we would be catching up for hours. Really, I have it in my mind that I would take you, friend, into O'Henry's for an afternoon coffee date and we would be asked to leave at closing time. God's grace has been abundantly poured into my life and I don't ever want to stop talking about it. During our time spent together, there would be a lot of tears and disbelief about how good He has been to me despite how fallen I am. But also smiles and hysterical laughter over hilarious stories, and a lot of lengthy descriptions of new friends & "holy sandpaper" (as my mom likes to call the people God places in your life that you have a hard time being patient with, but they are clearly there to edify you/smooth you out/make you more Christlike.) I've been a lot of places, done a lot of things, had a lot given to me and a lot taken away. I've been broken and healed several times over. I am so thankful for a year such as this one.
I graduated from Auburn.
I spent a summer serving with Student Life Camps.
I lived in Colorado for three months.
Three big, life changing things that I fully intend on sharing more about when it is not 2 AM and I have to be up in five hours. I hate that my infrequent desire to sit down and write comes at the most inopportune times, but I try to take advantage of it when it does.
