tall french kiss

something just happened that put me in a really good mood. If you follow me on twitter, you've probably heard by now, but I'm here to provide you with a more detailed version:

I'm in Toomer's Coffee Company at least two nights a week. Maybe four. It all depends on how much work I have to do. So of course, I'm on a first name basis with the baristas there. They know my favorite drinks. They know around what time I'll be there every day. Basically, this place is a huge part of my life as a college student.

So about ten minutes ago, as usual, I walk in the door and head to the counter to see that Trey is today's barista. He's busy making a drink, so I wait until he's finished to place my order. He walks over to the cash register, and as the words "I'd like a tall french kiss" come out of my mouth, he places the drink he had just made in front of me and says "you're never allowed to order anything else". I paid for my drink and sat down to work on my paper with a smile on my face.

I can't decide if this makes me predictable, or dedicated, or both, but either way - my drink was ready before I even ordered it. how awesome is that?

I like to think I've reached an elite status as a Toomer's customer. That's totally my pride speaking. But seriously... what in the world am I going to do when I move away from Auburn and baristas don't know my drink preferences? I have no idea.
